  Cook Family History

  

  The Cook Family History is an ongoing project of Alan’s. Running in PHPGedView, the site is using a modified template and modified coding to provide the desired functionality.

  GoRVA

  

  GoRVA is an online directory or Richmond area businesses. The site features the ability to search, browse by category, and leaves reviews for business. Due to the increase in local websites, this site is in planning for a revamp.

  Wanda’s Bargain Basement

  

  Wanda’s Bargain Basement was the first test run of using Joomla and Virtuemart as an e-commerce option.The process of building the site and finding limited documentation prompted Alan’s customizing Virtuemart blog post, and successful launch of the site proved Virtuemart as a viable option for e-commerce. Unfortunately, due to lack of participation, the website is planned to be shut down.

  Mahova Alumni

  

  The alumni of the Mahova home need an easy to use and easy to administer website, allowing them to keep on touch with one another.The solution was a very basic design, geared towards a more mature audience, created in Joomla and using the Community Builder add-on.
